Ministry Overview
The Kwara State Ministry of Finance and Planning is mandated to oversee the state's financial resources, prepare and implement annual budgets, coordinate economic planning initiatives, and monitor the performance of government programs. The Ministry works closely with all ministries, departments, and agencies to ensure that public funds are allocated efficiently and spent in accordance with established regulations and international best practices including IPSAS compliance. Through initiatives like the HOPE Programme and Public-Private Partnership frameworks, the Ministry continues to strengthen governance systems and improve service delivery for the people of Kwara State — the State of Harmony.
